3. Rates and Payment
All rates are quoted based on information provided by the customer. Final rates may vary based on actual shipment characteristics. Payment terms are net 30 days unless otherwise agreed upon in writing.
4. Liability
Lion’s Head LLC maintains cargo insurance as required by federal regulations. Our liability for lost or damaged goods is limited to the terms of our insurance policy and applicable federal regulations.
5. Prohibited Items
We reserve the right to refuse transportation of hazardous materials, illegal substances, or any items prohibited by federal or state law. Customers are responsible for accurate declaration of shipment contents.
6. Claims
Claims for lost or damaged freight must be submitted in writing within 9 months of the delivery date. All claims will be processed in accordance with federal regulations and our insurance policy terms.
7. SMS Communication Terms of Service
7.1 SMS Consent Communication
The information (phone numbers) obtained as part of the SMS consent process will not be shared with third parties for marketing purposes. Your phone number is collected solely for the purpose of providing you with SMS communications related to our services.
7.2 Types of SMS Communications
If you have consented to receive text messages from Lion’s Head LLC, you may receive messages related to the following:
- Shipment status updates and delivery notifications
- Appointment and pickup reminders
- Follow-up messages regarding your freight
- Billing inquiries and payment confirmations
